Jeb Dasteel

Jeb operates Dasteel Consulting, focusing on Customer Experience and Customer Strategy. Jeb is also co-founder, along with Diane Magers and Michael Hinshaw, of the Experience Alliance, an community of experience management leaders.

Jeb served as the Chief Customer Officer at Oracle for 12 years, from 2008 until his retirement on September 1, 2019. In this role, Jeb worked with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee to develop and implement goals for customer acquisition, engagement, retention, experience, value realization, and revenue growth. Jeb led customer integration from 140+ acquisitions. Jeb worked with top executives in many of the world’s leading brands to build strong business relationships. He served as an executive coach, sponsor, and troubleshooter for the largest enterprise accounts, strategic deals, and complex customer projects.

Prior to Oracle, Jeb worked as a management consultant and as a purchasing agent and materials manager in Aerospace & Defense. As a consultant, Jeb advised Fortune 500 organizations on implementing business and IT strategies, working with firms such as AMD, Bridgstone, Canadian Pacific Railway, and Caterpillar.

Jeb published the book, “Competing for Customers—Why Delivering Business Outcomes is Critical in the Customer First Revolution” in 2016. Jeb has also written extensively and is a regular contributor to CMSWire and the G2 blog on a wide range of customer experience topics.
